Tonbridge members of the Rotary Club have given an emergency donation of £1, 000 to assist in despatching Shelter-boxes to the Phillipines.

The Rotary Club Chairman Mr Steve Shaw, told me that “the club is always on hand to support disasters across the world with donations and supporting this “wonderful charity” in assisting victims of such tragedies. Their donations will certainly benefit those in the destroyed villages, towns and cities across the region where the typhoon struck, and we at the Rotary Club are always appreciative of any donations made for such a worthy and desperate cause!.

Anyone is welcome to make a donation to this world-wide appeal and can feel that they personally have contributed as has the Rotary Club of Tonbridge, to assist those in desperate need!
