Hike for the Homeless! |

Tonbridge-based
charity, The Bridge Trust, is seeking walkers to take part in the
Tonbridge Lions Charity Walk on Sunday 18th May and to raise vital
funds for the Trust’s work with single homeless adults in
West Kent. You can either do a 5 mile or a 10 mile walk and maps
and instructions are provided, as are free refreshments along the
route. |

This
delightful walk starts at 9 a.m. from Shipbourne Village Hall,
Shipbourne Common with registration from 8.30 a.m. and takes in
some of the area’s loveliest countryside. Dogs are allowed
but must be kept on a lead at all times.

Bridge Trust provides good quality accommodation for single homeless
adults in 5 houses across Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells and support
services are provided by the charity’s small team of Supported
Housing Officers. To provide essential funds for this vital work
in the community |

The
Bridge Trust runs a charity shop in Camden Road, Tunbridge Wells,
plus an enormous warehouse of quality used furniture and large
electrical items in Cannon Lane, Tonbridge (opposite B & Q).
There is over 10,000 square feet, stocking almost everything you
could possibly want for the home and browsers are warmly welcomed
as are good quality donations! |
