There is always something to do in Kent!
If you feel sporty there are hundreds of sports clubs across the county, or if you fancy something less physical, there are a variety of clubs and groups in every town to cater for everything from photography to chess. We have listed some clubs below, but why not check out your local town for more details.

Ashford Triathlon Club
Kent
If you feel up to the challenge of a triathlon, the Ashford Triathlon Club is the place to be. A small and friendly organisation, the club offers training in all three triathlon sports, whether you are a beginner or set for the next Olympics. As well as triathlons, the club encourages members to take part in duathlons, running races, cross country and cycle trials. http://www.ashfordtriclub.co.uk

Bromley cactus club
Kent
Although not exactly a desert, there are still lots of cacti in Bromley, and now there is a club dedicated to them and their needs! The monthly meetings of the Bromley Catcus Club allow green fingered fans to get together and promote the conservation and cultivation of the spiky plants. And with over 3,300 members nationally, the club is certainly proving popular. Usually consisting of a speaker, a slide show and a table show, the meetings help to explain the complicated growing methods of the cacti, and everyone, whether you are an expert, or simply someone with a plant on your windowsill, is more than welcome to join. http://www.london.bcss.org.uk/bromley/index.html
