The Ghostly Tour of Old Canterbury

Canterbury Leisure

If you are a fan of all things ghostly, Canterbury is the place for you! With a shadowy history dating from the middle ages, the city is allegedly a hot bed of paranormal activity! Ghost walks are held regularly in the city, with an hour-long tour setting off at 8.00pm every Friday and Saturday, and are an entertaining mix of local history, humour, folklore and tales of the supernatural with a trained ghost buster, sorry, guide. Not one for the faint hearted though!

Canterbury City Walks
Kent

As an ancient walled city with many narrow streets dating back to medieval times, Canterbury city centre is best seen on foot and a walking tour with an officially trained guide, all of whom are also local residents, is a must for any visitor. The Canterbury Guild of Guides' standard tour of the city is in English and lasts an hour and a half. Available throughout the year, the tour allows visitors to explore parts of the city which could otherwise be missed.

Constantly on the lookout for talented new players, female, male or children, Canterbury RFU is definitely the place to be if you fancy yourself as the next Johnny Wilkinson! With a number of social events, as well as the games and tournaments, even if you do not know your prop from your hooker, the regular social meetings mean that there is something for everyone!
